The number doesn't match Apple Health
It should, because it is the Apple Health number — Angel Step reads your step count from Health rather than counting its own. While the app is open it also listens to the iPhone's motion sensor so the number can move as you walk, and that live figure settles onto the Health total.
If the two really differ, it's almost always permission: open Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Angel Step and check that steps are allowed. An Apple Watch that hasn't synced yet can also hold a few hundred steps back for a while. The full explanation of why devices and apps disagree is on why your step counts don't match.
The widget is showing an old number
The widget reads Health by itself, and iOS decides how often it may wake up — that budget is the system's, not ours. Opening Angel Step always refreshes it.
Someone sent me an invite code
Open Angel Step → settings → invite code, and paste it there. The code works even if you enter it days later, and your first walk still counts.
I want my data gone
Deleting the app deletes everything it keeps — your days, your streak, your collection — because all of it lives on your iPhone and nowhere else. If you used invites and want the invite record removed too, write to us and we'll do it. The full picture is on the privacy page.
